Conforme informado pelo jornalista Fabrizio Romano nesta terça-feira (13), o clube espanhol irá buscar a contratação de um novo zagueiro, atendendo a um dos pedidos do novo treinador. Além disso, os merengues deverão ir atrás de um novo lateral-esquerdo.
Por outro lado, o lateral-direito Lucas Vásquez não deverá seguir no elenco para o próximo ano. Seu contrato, se encerra no próximo dia 30 de junho, ão deve ser renovado. Dessa forma o Mundial de Clubes provavelmente será sua despedida do Real.
Lesões preocupam Real Madrid
Um dos fatores que impactou o desempenho da equipe na temporada 2024-25 foi a quantidade de jogadores lesionados, principalmente no setor defensivo.
Éder Militão, Rudiger, David Alaba, Mendy, Carvajal e Lucas Vásquez desfalcaram a equipe em vários jogos.
