Chelsea stellt offenbar die Weichen für einen Transfer-Erfolg im zweiten Anlauf!
Der Wechsel von BVB-Talent Jamie Gittens zu Chelsea steht kurz vor dem Abschluss. Nachdem der Wechsel zuletzt ins Stocken geriet, haben sich die Vereine jetzt in den USA angenähert. Ein Deal scheint greifbar nah.
Anfang der Woche gab es Gespräche zwischen den Vertretern von Chelsea und Dortmund in den USA. BVB-Sportdirektor Sebastian Kehl (45) führte die Verhandlungen federführend und machte klar, dass die Ablöse für Gittens bei 65 Millionen Euro bleibt. Chelsea scheint nun bereit, diesen Preis zu zahlen. Nachdem der Premier-League-Klub zuvor noch ordentlich drücken wollte.
Vor der Klub-WM boten die „Blues“ lediglich 55 Millionen Euro, woraufhin Dortmund die Gespräche abbrach. Doch jetzt, während des Turniers, könnte der Transfer nach dem Finale am 13. Juli schnell über die Bühne gehen.

Gittens selbst hat signalisiert, dass er zurück nach England möchte. Der U21-Nationalspieler kam 2020 von Manchester City zum BVB. Nun lockt ihn Chelsea wohl mit einem Siebenjahresvertrag.

Für den BVB geht es bei der Klub-WM in der Nacht von Dienstag auf Mittwoch (3 Uhr deutscher Zeit) gegen CF Monterrey weiter.
