Die Formel E in Deutschland!
Am kommenden Wochenende macht die Formel E Halt in Berlin. Auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Flughafens Tempelhof steigt das 13. und 14. Rennen der Saison – es ist die vorletzte Station des Jahres.
Dementsprechend könnte am Wochenende bereits der Titel entschieden werden. Der Brite Oliver Rowland (32) hat 69 Punkte Vorsprung in der WM auf den Deutschen Pascal Wehrlein. Um in Berlin bereits am Samstag Weltmeister zu werden, benötigt er einen Vorsprung von 87 Zählern, am Sonntag reicht ein Polster von 58 Punkten.
Allerdings verbuchte Rowland beim letzten E-Prix in Jakarta kein gutes Rennen. Danach sagte der WM-Führende: „Wir müssen verstehen, was schiefgelaufen ist. Ich bin zuversichtlich, dass wir das schaffen und in Berlin wieder ganz vorne mitkämpfen können.“
Für die mögliche Titelentscheidung ist die Stadt Berlin der perfekte Platz. Neben vielen Prominenten, die an die Strecke kommen, ist die Stadt der am längsten vertretene Ort im Formel-E-Kalender. Rekordsieger hier ist der Portugiese António Félix da Costa mit 3 Siegen.
