Muller rasgou elogios ao momento protagonizado pelo Ceará nas primeiras rodadas do Brasileirão. Em comentário feito no “Gazeta Esportiva” desta segunda-feira (12), ele enalteceu a força da equipe alvinegra ao prospectar o duelo contra o Santos, que acabou em um empate sem gols no Allianz.
Na concepção dele, o Vozão tem alcançado uma estabilidade que o Peixe ainda não atingiu na temporada 2025. Apesar de não ter nenhuma estrela, o Ceará foi apontado pelo tetracampeão como um time que possui um elenco fechado e de bom valor coletivo.
“O Santos vai enfrentar um adversário que está bem no Brasileirão. O Ceará é um bom time, e que impõe muita dificuldade aos seus oponentes. É um time compacto, não tem individualidades, mas possui um coletivo muito bom, diferente do Santos, que só tem uma vitória”, iniciou Muller.

Com o resultado obtido fora de casa, o Ceará saltou para os 12 pontos, e chegou ao sexto lugar na tabela da Série A, ultrapassando o Atlético-MG e o Bahia nos critérios de desempate. O alvinegro nordestino acumula 50% de aproveitamento neste início de certame, enquanto o Peixe segue amargando a zona de rebaixamento.
Na próxima rodada, o Ceará terá clássico local contra o lanterna Sport, em compromisso marcado para o sábado (17), às 16h (de Brasília), no Castelão.

Ainda prospectando o embate, Muller foi incisivo ao criticar o fato do Santos ter desembolsado 8 milhões de euros na contratação de Thaciano junto ao Bahia. Na visão do ex-jogador, o investimento foi muito fora do padrão e do nível que o atleta pode entregar.
