Com a pausa do Brasileirão para a disputa da Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa, os clubes da competição que não estarão na disputa do certame nos Estados Unidos já planejam o que fazer para o tempo sem jogos. O Internacional decidiu usar o praticamente o mês sem jogos para dar uma folga a seus jogadores.
Segundo informação do GE, o Colorado dará férias para seus jogadores na pausa para o Mundial. Os atletas ficarão 15 dias longe das atividades, só retornando no dia 28 para reiniciar os trabalhos pela volta da Série A, em julho. O período de folga começa na sexta-feira (13).
Férias para recuperar
A principal motivação para a pausa nas atividades é de tentar recuperar atletas lesionados ou que convivem com forte desgaste físico. Entre eles, atletas importantes para o time comandado por Roger Machado, casos de Enner Valencia, Rochet, Borré, Mercado, Victor Gabriel e Carbonero. A expectativa da comissão técnica é que, depois da quinzena de férias, todos estes possam estar novamente à disposição para os treins.
A primeira partida do Internacional no Brasileirão depois da pausa da Copa do Mundo de Clubes será no dia 13 de julho, contra o Vitória. Antes deste jogo, não estão previstos quaisquer jogos-treino, o que dará a Roger a possibilidade de recuperar de forma mais forte o estado físico dos atleta e focar em treinamentos táticos
Em busca de reforços
Mas não apenas recuperar os lesionados motiva o Colorado nestas ‘mini-férias’. O time usará o período para poder reforçar-se no mercado da bola, aproveitando a proximidade da abertura da janela de transferências para poder tentar negociações e fechar com atletas aos quais o elenco de Roger tem lacunas.
Alan Benítez, lateral-direito do Cerro Porteño, está praticamente acertado com os gaúchos, tendo um pré-contrato com o time do Beira-Rio. Mas ainda há alguns jogadores que deverão ser visados no mercado, com a zaga e o meio-campo sendo desejados, já que estas tem sofrido com desfalques e falta de opções.
Antes da pauta, há ainda o compromisso final do Internacional no Brasileirão antes da pausa do Mundial, com a equipe entrando em campo nesta quinta-feira (12) para enfrentar o Atlético-MG,
