Jogadores do Grêmio fazem festa por título na Recopa (Lucas Uebel – Divulgação)
Sem maiores esforços, o Grêmio superou o São José nesta terça-feira (08), na Arena, pelo placar de 2 a 0, e faturou o título da Recopa Gaúcha. Os tentos que liquidaram a partida foram anotados em 22 minutos de jogo, garantindo assim o quinto título do Imortal na competição. Dominante no ranking de títulos, o clube aumentou a distância para o arquirrival Internacional, que não vence a competição desde 2017.
Responsável por uma hegemonia nos títulos estaduais das últimas temporadas, o Grêmio aproveitou para enfileirar conquistas da Recopa, onde esteve marcando presença na decisão nos últimos sete anos. A sequência será interrompida no próximo ano, uma vez que o Colorado foi o campeão do Gauchão em 2025, e vai aguardar o oponente para a final no próximo ano.
Ranking de títulos da Recopa Gaúcha
Iniciada em 2014, a Recopa Gaúcha só teve uma única edição sendo disputada no formato de ida e volta (2015: Lajeadense x Internacional). Nos primeiros anos, o torneio colocava frente à frente o campeão Gaúcho contra o ganhar da Supercopa Gaúcha do ano anterior. A partir de 2018, a FGF promoveu alteração, colocando o vencedor da Copa FGF no lugar da Suepercopa.
De 12 edições disputadas, somente quatro vezes um time do interior conseguiu se sagrar campeão: Pelotas (1014 e 2020), Ijuí (2024) e Lajeado (2015).

Depois de faturar o título frente ao São José, o Tricolor dos Pampas tem todos os holofotes voltados para a disputa do Brasileirão Série A. Neste domingo (13), a equipe de Mano Menezes visita o Cruzeiro, em Belo Horizonte, pela 13ª rodada do certame. Invicto há seis jogos na temporada (quatro vitórias e dois empates), o time sulista ocupa a 11ª posição na tabela, com 16 pontos, enquanto a equipe celeste é vice-líder, com 24 tentos.
Para o embate, o Grêmio não irá contar com o lateral Marlon, que ainda tem vínculo junto ao time mineiro, e só poderia ser escalado mediante ao pagamento da multa de R$ 1,5 milhão fixada em contrato. Neste cenário, Lucas Esteves será o substituto no setor. Visando dar ritmo de jogo ao garoto, Mano já o acionou na condição de titular contra o São José. Baixa na Recopa, o atacante Braithwaite é tratado como dúvida, por conta de dores no tornozelo.
