O Internacional contratou o volante Thiago Maia em março de 2024, no último dia da janela de transferências do início da temporada. O primeiro contrato firmado entre o clube e o jogador foi por empréstimo. No entanto, em julho do mesmo ano, foi concretizado o acordo em definitivo para a compra do atleta por 4 milhões de euros (pouco mais de R$ 24 milhões), junto ao Flamengo.
Se o torcedor pensou que a assinatura dos papéis fosse o encerramento dessa história, está bem enganado. Flamengo e Internacional estão travando um duelo jurídico, pois a equipe gaúcha não pagou tudo o que deve aos cariocas. O Rubro-Negro, por sua vez, acionou o Colorado na CBF (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol).
Venê Casagrande revela teor do processo
Utilizando as redes sociais, Venê Casagrande publicou que teve acesso ao documento que envolve os dois clubes pela dívida do meio-campista. De acordo com o jornalista, o processo de cobrança do Flamengo está na CNRD (Câmara Nacional de Resolução de Disputas) da CBF, entidade responsável por resolver disputas judiciais entre participantes do futebol brasileiro, de acordo com os estatutos e regulamentos da CBF e da Fifa.
Para explicar o que o Internacional deve ao Flamengo, Venê escreveu que “o Flamengo vendeu 50% dos direitos de Thiago Maia ao Inter por 4 milhões de euros (€1.25MM já estão vencidos)”.
No trecho publicado do processo, o Flamengo solicita o pagamento de parcelas, reembolso de honorários advocatícios sucumbenciais e solicita que sanções sejam aplicadas ao clube gaúcho, caso não cumpra o que está descrito no documento.
A defesa do Internacional
Na mesma publicação, o jornalista apresenta as justificativas do Internacional para o atraso no pagamento. O clube propõe um parcelamento em 10 vezes e alega que a pandemia e a tragédia das enchentes ocorrida em 2024, impossibilitaram a presença de público nos estádios. Além disso, afirma que ainda está tentando se recuperar financeiramente, embora esteja distante de uma solução.
Por outro lado, o Flamengo justifica dizendo que o contrato em definitivo do jogador com o Internacional foi assinado após as tragédias no Sul, e isso quer dizer que não houve modificação do quadro econômico do time gaúcho. “O Departamento Jurídico do Rubro-Negro rejeitou a proposta de acordo com o parcelamento em dez vezes, indicando novamente que o Inter arrecadou cerca de R$ 135 milhões com venda de seus atletas em 2024”, escreveu Venê.
O jornalista afirma que desde o dia 11 de março deste ano não há nenhuma nova movimentação no processo que está na CNRD.
