CeeDee Lamb isn’t holding back ahead of the 2025 season-and he doesn’t think the Cowboys should either.
With training camp underway and the season opener just over a month out, Lamb made it clear Friday morning he believes Dallas can hang with anyone in the league. His reason? A fully healthy Dak Prescott, a reloaded offense, and something to prove.

“I like us versus anybody, honestly,” Lamb said during his presser, per NFL insider Jordan Schultz. “Anyone, any room, I don’t care what they be saying in the media. I see it; I ignore it. We’ll see y’all in September… I feel like the league knows what happens when I’m healthy and I have Dak for a whole season. But if you don’t, I will happily show you what it’s going to be like this year.”
Prescott’s 2024 season was cut in half by a hamstring injury, and even when he was on the field, the numbers weren’t what fans expected: 6.9 yards per attempt, 11 touchdowns, 8 interceptions. That left Lamb to shoulder much of the offensive load-and he still delivered, racking up 1,194 yards in a turbulent season that saw Dallas rotate through backup quarterbacks.
New Faces, New Firepower
It’s not just Prescott’s return that has Lamb fired up. Dallas made serious moves this offseason, including the addition of George Pickens-a 1,000-yard receiver from Pittsburgh-to give the team a two-headed threat at wideout.
They also overhauled the backfield, bringing in Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders to take pressure off the passing game. And in case the injury bug bites again, they traded for quarterback Joe Milton III, who flashed serious potential as a rookie in New England.
The optimism feels earned, but the challenge ahead is real. The NFC East isn’t getting any easier. Washington is trending upward. The Giants are revamped. And the Eagles remain, well, the Eagles.
But Lamb isn’t interested in outside noise. “Respectfully, I don’t care who’s lined up across from us,” he said. “If we’re healthy, we’re dangerous. That’s the truth.”

Salford Red Devils have been wound up following their HMRC hearing, bringing an end to the club's 152-year history in its current form.The company which owns the team, Salford City Reds (2013) Limited, was issued with a winding-up petition by HM Revenue and Customs in May. They received four adjournments, with the court repeatedly granting them time to show proof of funds in order to pay off all of their creditors. Alexander Bunzl, for Salford City Reds, told the hearing back in October that "more than adequate" funding was due to become available so the matter could be "settled promptly".However, no funds have since materialised.
