Der SC DHfK gewinnt sein Spiel im DHB-Pokal bei Frisch Auf Göppingen mit 28:26 und feiert damit seinen ersten Saisonerfolg. In der Bundesliga ist Leipzig mit nur einem Punkt aus sechs Spielen derzeit Vorletzter.
Den einen Punkt holte man vor drei Wochen ausgerechnet in Göppingen. Und auch diesmal ist es wieder ein Spiel auf Augenhöhe.
Tor-Gigant rettet Leipzig im Pokal

Auf die Führung muss die in der Bundesliga noch sieglose DHfK jedoch bis kurz vor der Pause warten. Franz Semper schafft schließlich den Treffer zum 11:12. Verrückt, mit wie viel Überzeugung er dann das 12:13 nachlegt.
