Janotka se po utkání, které kvůli zranění nedohráli olomoucký Jan Kliment a ostravský Tomáš Rigo a v němž rozhodčí Dalibor Černý rozdal tři červené karty, za své chování omluvil. „Byl tam jeden inkriminovaný moment, kdy byla jasná, zjevná červená karta. Místo aby si ten hráč (Michal Kohút) uvědomil, co udělal, začal ho (Matěje Mikulenku) fénovat. Použil jsem výraz, který se nehodí a omlouvám se za to,“ říkal Janotka.
Oběma týmům šlo o hodně, vítězství v poháru je přímou cestou do Konferenční ligy. „Byly to emoce, patří to k tomu a nechtěl bych se k tomu nějak speciálně vyjadřovat. Ale některé věci by si asi někteří hráči, funkcionáři, trenéři neměli dovolit,“ vysvětloval svou reakci Prekop.

Sudí Dalibor Černý udělil v zápase tři červené karty. Michal Frydrych šel ven už po čtvrt hodině hry. Po jeho faulu musel střídat vážně zraněný střelec hostí Jan Kliment.
Nedohráli ani hostující Jiří Spáčil, jenž zranil Tomáše Riga a domácí Michal Kohút. „Od začátku jsem říkal, že to k tomu spělo. Můžu to říct takhle narovinu. Ten zápas podle mě nebyl zvládnutý tak, jak by měl být,“ přemítal Prekop.
K sudím se myšlenky poražených po utkání hodně stáčely „Potřebovali jsme dotahovat, bohužel se to ale dohrávalo v těch emocích, protože my jsme si potřebovali vytvořit tlak. Rozhodčí to kouskoval. I Olomouc to hrála celkem chytře, takže padali. Nepustili nás do nějakého tlaku, který jsme potřebovali,“ líčil slovenský útočník.
Také trenér Baníku Pavel Hapal se zlobil. Nejvíce na rozhodčího u VARu Tomáše Kocourka. „Zase pan Kocourek. To už je poněkolikáté. Klimentovo zranění mě mrzí, ale byla to nešťastná smůla, mrzí to i Frýďu (Michala Frydrycha). Určitě ho bude kontaktovat, nechal nohu blbě pod sebou. Vyhodnotit se to ale musí stejně všude,“ pěnil Hapal.
A připomněl podobné střety. „Když se podíváte na souboj Uchenny s Dioufem nebo na Syllu, je to úplně stejný zákrok. Úplně stejný! Taky mu přilehl nohu, akorát nedošlo k zranění. Sylla měl dostat druhou žlutou kartu a měl jít ven. Proto ho taky trenér Janotka střídal, věděl, že to smrdí druhou žlutou kartou. Plus další věc, kterou tady před vámi řeknu,“ začal své hodnocení porážky trenér Baníku Pavel Hapal.
A po hlubokém nádechu pokračoval. „Dneska jsem se dozvěděl, že když jde rozhodčí (před televizní kameru) hodnotit svůj výkon, je dopředu připravován otázkami od štábu, aby věděl, na co bude odpovídat. Mně jako trenérovi to někdo dělá? Nechápu to, nerozumím. Proč je připravovaný na otázky? Proč mu říkají pět minut dopředu, na co se ho budou ptát? Co když mu řekne, že na tuhle otázku neodpoví? To přece není normální! Redaktor nám řekl, že jsou takhle instruovaní. Prý budou odpovídat jen na otázky, které budou znát dopředu. Tomu se směju,“ kroutil hlavou Hapal.
