Daran hängt eine Boldt-Verpflichtung – Hertha will einen neuen Boss

Sportlich läuft es bei Hertha BSC. Fünf Spiele ohne Niederlage – vier davon gewonnen.

Patriots finally add offensive explosiveness in Henderson, Williams on Day 2 of NFL Draft

Three days after Christmas last year, the New England Patriots hosted the Los Angeles Chargers in a nationally televised contest, hopeful to showcase their promising rookie quarterback, Drake Maye.Instead, the Patriots totaled just 181 yards of offense and 11 first downs. They were completely outmanned in a 40-7 loss that displayed their lack of game-breaking talent on offense. So on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft on Friday night, a new-look regime continued to spend its most valuable draft picks in support of Maye, this time with one theme in mind: explosiveness. In recent years, so much had to go right for the Patriots offense to find success. A single penalty felt like a drive crusher because they had no players who seemed capable of making a chunk play. No one could get them out of a hole if they got […]

Steelers still hope to add Aaron Rodgers, might draft developmental QB, owner says

The Pittsburgh Steelers are still optimistic free-agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers will join the team soon, president and owner Art Rooney said Friday, as the 2025 NFL Draft continued and the team declined to take a quarterback through the first three rounds.Speaking on Steelers Nation Radio midway through Day 2 — before the team’s pick at No. 83 in the third round — Rooney also said the team’s pursuit of Rodgers had not materially affected its approach in the draft, but that the team could still draft a quarterback. After Rooney spoke, Pittsburgh passed on Shedeur Sanders (and other available QBs) at No. 83, instead taking running back Kaleb Johnson.Advertisement“We really did not factor whether Aaron is coming or not into that,” Rooney said. “If we draft a quarterback — and we still might — it’s probably not someone who’s going […]

2025 NFL mock draft for Round 4: Shedeur Sanders is finally picked, Bears get their explosive RB

Getty Images We're through three rounds in the 2025 NFL Draft and, somehow, Shedeur Sanders is still on the board. Some predicated a fall into Round 2. I don't think anyone in the draft industry saw this coming for the former Colorado quarterback. Anyway, the marathon that is Day 3 is still in front of us with more than 150 picks remaining. Remember, future All-Pros will be picked on Day 3. And, yes, there are still quality receivers on the board. Here's a fourth-round mock draft. Enjoy. NBA playoffs: Timberwolves survive 38-point night from LeBron James to take 2-1 lead

They had to survive a night of LeBron James Classic, but the Minnesota Timberwolves have a 2-1 lead in their first-round series against the Los Angeles Lakers. After allowing the Lakers to tie the game in a Game 2 rock fight, Minnesota survived an up-and-down game for a 116-104 win in Game 3 behind 30 points from Jaden McDaniels and 29 points from Anthony Edwards. Game 4 is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday at the Target Center.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe Lakers were playing with Luka Dončić reportedly limited by a stomach bug. The Slovenian star finished with 17 points on 6-of-16 shooting with eight assists and five turnovers, but James nearly made up for it with one of the best games of the later act of his career. He posted 38 points points, an NBA record for playoff scoring among players older […]

Shedeur Sanders best landing spots: Ranking possible teams to select Colorado QB on Day 3 of 2025 NFL Draft

Getty Images The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft came and went Thursday, and arguably the biggest name of the entire pre-draft process was not called: Shedeur Sanders. Despite crowning himself the best quarterback in the class, arguing that teams would be "fools" not to trust him as a franchise-changing talent, the Colorado product proved too shaky of a prospect to warrant anyone's Day 1 investment. And then it all happened again on Friday, with all 32 teams looking elsewhere. By the end of the night, three rounds had passed, and Sanders remained unselected, despite once headlining expert projections that had him as a potential top-five pick in the entire draft. So what's next for the son of former NFL great Deion Sanders? Will he finally find a taker on Day 3? We'll find out soon enough. The final day of draft […]

NFL Draft best available players for Cleveland Browns: Cameron Williams, Jalen Royals

The heaviest lifting is probably done. The Cleveland Browns’ future-focused 2025 draft started with a trade that gave them Jacksonville’s 2026 first-round pick and moved them down to No. 5, where they picked Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham. But the Browns are still looking to add depth and talent to their roster, and they still need to add young players to their offensive line. They’re likely to look for help at wide receiver and safety, too, though the Cleveland draft has brought multiple surprises thus far. No one predicted that diminutive quarterback Dillon Gabriel would go in the top 100 picks, but the Browns selected the Oregon passer at No. 94 Friday night.AdvertisementThe Browns currently have three picks on Saturday: 126 in the fourth round, 166 in the fifth and 192 in the sixth. They were slated to have five Saturday […]
