O Santos vem encontrando dificuldades para fechar um novo técnico desde a demissão de Pedro Caixinha, no dia 14 de abril. A diretoria santista chegou a conversar com alguns nomes livres no mercado, mas sem conseguir avançar nas negociações.
O ex-jogador Rivaldo, uma das referências do futebol brasileiro, declarou que “acha muito estranha” essa situação vivida pelo Peixe. Para ele existe uma “desconfiança” por parte dos treinadores procurados pelo clube paulista.
“Acho muito estranha essa situação do Santos ainda não ter conseguido resolver essa parte de ter um treinador. É um time de uma história bonita, hoje com bons jogadores e o Neymar, que retornou ao futebol brasileiro, mesmo numa situação não muito boa pois ele segue machucado. Mas acredito que muitos treinadores estão um pouco desconfiados do Santos, se ele conseguiria render com os jogadores que tem no elenco.
Acredito que tem bons jogadores, o Santos é um time que vai brigar por coisas boas da temporada, mas infelizmente não sei muito o motivo que ainda não apareceu um treinador ideal para treinar esse clube cheio de história. O meu desejo é que eles encontrem logo um treinador, que se resolva o mais rápido possível para que possam fazer um trabalho de qualidade com esses jogadores, principalmente com a ajuda de Neymar”, declarou o ex-jogador em entrevista exclusiva para à Betfair.
Retorno de Neymar ao clube
Rivaldo, que elogiou a escolha do craque em retornar ao Santos, fez um balanço dos primeiros meses do jogador em seu retorno.
“A vinda dele trouxe muitas coisas boas como melhoras no Santos, de patrocínio, estrutura que estão melhorando… Muitas coisas o Neymar faz pelo Santos. Evidentemente todo mundo queria que ele jogasse, mas infelizmente se machucou e agora temos que torcer para que ele melhore e possa jogar. Torcer para que venha um treinador à altura do Santos para que possa colocar o clube onde sempre mereceu, entre os primeiros do Brasil”,

Depois da saída de Pedro Caixinha, a diretoria santista chegou a conversar com Dorival Júnior, Tite e Jorge Sampaoli para assumir o cargo de treinador. Os dois primeiro recusaram a sondagem inicial enquanto o último chegou a negociar seu retorno para a equipe, mas acabou interrompendo as conversas ao entender que não teria as peças necessárias para poder realizar um bom trabalho.
Os últimos rumores são de que o Santos sondou Ramón Díaz, demitido recentemente do Corinthians, mas ele teria recusado a proposta.
Por enquanto o Peixe segue com César Sampaio no comando técnico. Inclusive parte da diretoria já se mostra favorável a efetiva-lo como técnico, justamente por conta das recusas e falta de opções no mercado.
