Em jogo de cinco gols e duas viradas, o Barcelona venceu o Real Madrid por 3 a 2 neste sábado e se consagrou campeão da Copa do Rei. Depois de o time catalão abrir o placar no primeiro tempo, os merengues tomaram à frente na segunda etapa, mas sofreram o empate nos minutos finais. Com isso, o jogo foi para a prorrogação decidida com gol de Koundé. O Barça poderia ter resolvido no tempo normal, mas o pênalti marcado sobre Raphinha foi anulado.
O primeiro tempo já foi recheado de polêmicas. O Barcelona reclamou de dois pênaltis e o Real Madrid de um, sobre Vinícius Júnior, mas o brasileiro estava impedido na origem do lance. Ainda houve um gol anulado do Real pois Bellingham também estava fora de ação. O gol que valeu aconteceu aos 28 minutos, com lindo chute de Pedri no ângulo de Courtois, premiando o maior domínio do Barcelona.
Apesar da pressão, a equipe catalã foi para o intervalo apenas com o 1 a 0 no placar. Isolado no ataque do Real, Vinícius Júnior só conseguiu levar vantagem no lance em que estava impedido, já no fim do primeiro tempo. No mais, a equipe de Carlo Ancelotti ficou na maior parte do tempo se defendendo para evitar o pior e terminou nas cordas, mas ainda viva.

O time catalão conseguiu reagir a tempo. O camisa 7 Ferrn Torres aproveitou ótimo lançamento de Yamal nas costas de Rüdiger, driblou Courtois e deixou tudo igual, aos 38 minutos. Nos acréscimos, já depois dos 50, Raphinha caiu na área e pediu pênalti. O juiz marcou, mas anulou após olhar o VAR.
Na prorrogação, os dois times apresentaram sinais de cansaço de um jogo eletrizante. Mesmo assim, o Barcelona provou mais uma vez que vive grande fase e mereceu a vitória. Em passe de Modric, Brahim Díaz escorregou e Koundé entrou livre na área para dar números finais à partida.
