O Craque Neto tem opinião formada acerca de quem será o ‘dono do gol’ da seleção brasileira: Hugo Souza. Em comentário feito no “Os Donos da Bola” nesta segunda (28), ele isentou o arqueiro pela falha no jogo do Corinthians frente ao Flamengo, pelo Brasileirão, e destacou potencial do atleta.
Na avaliação dele, o jovem de 25 anos tem condições de brigar pela titularidade no gol do escrete canarinho, muito possivelmente sob comando de Carlo Ancelotti, e será figura cativa na meta canarinho.

Para o segundo jogo, após Alisson ser cortado por procedimento de cautela pelo choque em jogo contra a Colômbia, Weverton foi acionado como opção, disputando posição com Éderson (Manchester City) e Bento (Al-Nassr).

Em outro momento da atração da Band, o Craque Neto voltou a subir o tom contra o meio-campista Igor Coronado, destacando que o atleta está longe de empolgar com a camisa do Corinthians, e não justifica o alto salário recebido.
