Potrestán byl také bývalý hráč Interu a jeho současný viceprezident Javier Zanetti, který musí zaplatit 14 500 eur. Pokuty kvůli vazbám na problémové ultras dostaly také oba milánské kluby: Inter 70 000 eur a AC 30 000 eur.
Italská policie loni v září zadržela 19 lídrů ultras Interu a AC Milán podezřelých ze spolupráce s kalábrijskou mafií ’Ndrangheta. Inzaghi a další přední členové obou klubů obviněni nebyli, vyšetřování však odhalilo jejich kontakty na ultras.
Fotbalový svaz je proto potrestal za vazby na neschválené fanouškovské skupiny, jako je například Curva Nord v případě Interu a Curva Sud v případě AC. Podle deníku Gazzetta dello Sport sankce vynesl po dohodě se všemi zúčastněnými.
