Na última quarta-feira (30), o jogador iniciou a partida contra o Ceará, pela terceira fase da Copa do Brasil, e mais uma vez não conseguiu saiu do zero em sua cota de gols (Gustavo Gómez foi o autor do tento da vitória do Verdão). Este foi, nos dados da Gazeta Esportiva, o nono jogo como titular dos 11 que fez com a camisa palmeirense desde a sua chegada ao Parque Antártica, em março.
Assim que chegou ao Palmeiras, Vitor Roque já foi a campo como titular, atuando cinco partidas no onze inicial, mas depois indo para o banco. Contra Fortaleza e Bahia. começou na reserva, mas entrou durante o jogo, enquanto que, entre este período, foi poupado do mais recente triunfo do Verdão na Libertadores, contra o Bolívar, por lesão.
Joga contra o Vasco?
Enquanto esteve fora, Flaco López foi o titular, posição que ocupava antes da chegada do ‘Tigrinho’. Para este domingo (4), contra o Vasco, pelo Brasileirão, o técnico Abel Ferreira ainda não definiu se manterá a formação vencedora no Castelão, ou se fará novamente alterações no setor ofensivo, trazendo de volta o argentino.
Tais mudanças, se acontecerem poderão também ser motivadas pela sequência que o Palmeiras terá na temporada. Na quarta-feira (7), o Alviverde encara o Cerro Porteño, em jogo que pode encaminhar a classificação do time para às oitavas de final da Libertadores. E, no domingo seguinte (11), o clássico com o São Paulo, pelo Brasileirão.
