O Santos não vive um grande momento na temporada mesmo após trazer diversos reforços, como o atacante Neymar, por exemplo. Mas, em meio a um futebol ruim, o meia argentino Benjamín Rollheiser tem se destacado e chamado a atenção do jornalista Fábio Sormani.

No último “Opinião Placar”, o comentarista disse que ele é muito bom para o nível atual do Peixe, entendendo que ele poderia estar em um time melhor. Na opinião de Sormani, o meia jogaria em qualquer time do Brasil.

“Da pena de ver o Rollheiser jogando com a camisa do Santos, da pena. Ele é jogador para estar no Palmeiras, no Flamengo, no Botafogo… ele era para ter sido contratado pelo Botafogo, decidiu ir para o Santos por conta do Neymar, do projeto e tudo mais, mas deve estar muito arrependido”, disse.

Palmeiras não tem um meia como ele

Na sequência, Sormani segue elogiando o argentino, destacando que ele seria peça fundamental no Palmeiras de Abel Ferreira.

“Ele é muito diferenciado, muito. O Palmeiras não tem um jogador como ele no meio-campo. Ele é muito rápido, pensa muito na frente. A bola está chegando nele, ele já sabe o que vai fazer com ela”, completou o jornalista.

Revelado pelo River Plate, Rollheiser se destacou mais no Estudiantes, onde jogou entre 2022 e 2024. Depois, foi para o Benfica, atuando por uma temporada no futebol português.
