A dali volno některým oporám. Jindřich Staněk, Vasil Kušej a Lukáš Provod ani nefigurovali v nominaci. „Lehčí zdravotní problémy,“ vysvětloval trenér Jindřich Trpišovský.

Statistika zápasu Slavia–Plzeň

Slavia protočila sestavu, zdánlivě už nehrála o nic. Jak hráči takové situace prožívají?

„Oslavy byly krásné a věřím, že ještě budou. Samozřejmě to není úplně jednoduché. Každý to má trochu v hlavě,“ přiznal Schranz.

Nejprve ho trefil, odražený míč i kvůli teči vracejícího se Jana Palusky orazítkoval břevno. Vyšlo to až do třetice.

K míči patří i kniha

Přístup svěřenců potěšil i trenéra Trpišovského.

Lingering questions for the Patriots looking ahead to minicamp and OTAs

A month before the NFL Draft, coach Mike Vrabel sarcastically mocked the praise he and his New England Patriots had gotten for “winning” March with their free-agency splurge. So it’s not hard to imagine how he’d react to the near-universal love the Patriots have gotten for their draft class, earning high marks from pundits across the internet. He knows success in the offseason is irrelevant if wins don’t follow in the fall.AdvertisementNow, though, Vrabel can get to work. Organized team activities begin May 19. Minicamp is in June. That sets the table for the start of training camp in late July.Still, even if free agency and the draft went well for the Pats, plenty of questions linger. How could they not after back-to-back 4-13 seasons? So with the Patriots on the doorstep of OTAs and with the roster-building portion of the […]

Why Cowboys’ potential committee approach at running back could yield better results

FRISCO, Texas — The Dallas Cowboys don’t know how their running back situation is going to materialize. No position group on the team has been shaken up like that room has, from top to bottom.Derrick Foster is the running backs coach following his one-year stop working with Alvin Kamara in New Orleans, after three years helping to elevate Austin Ekeler in Los Angeles. Rico Dowdle and Ezekiel Elliott are gone. In their place, the Cowboys signed Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders in free agency. Deuce Vaughn and Hunter Luepke return, though neither is guaranteed a roster spot once the dust settles on training camp.AdvertisementThe key to the entire operation may be the Texas product the Cowboys selected on the third day of the 2025 NFL Draft.“At the end of the day, in the NFL, you’re looking for explosive playmakers,” Cowboys […]

NBA Playoffs picks, odds, schedule for Tuesday: Cavs try to tie Pacers, Warriors-Wolves Game 1

The NBA’s conference semifinals are thoroughly awesome every year, even if they don’t quite get the stakes and glamour of later series. The second round is an ideal combination of talent (no sputtering eight seeds) and depth (the last time we get playoff doubleheaders on a nightly basis). This is where Kevin Durant needed an extra fraction of an inch, where Steve Nash needed to plug his face with gauze and where Kawhi Leonard put fate in a pinball machine. Let’s see what’s in store for us this time.AdvertisementTuesday’s slate yields two matchups worth watching. First, the East-leading Cleveland Cavaliers rally to host the insurgent Indiana Pacers for a pivotal Game 2. Then, we begin the Anthony Edwards bildungsroman … unless the winningest organization of the past decade has editing power, of course. The Minnesota Timberwolves-Golden State Warriors series teems with “Hardwood […]
