O Coritiba perdeu boa chance de subir na tabela do Brasileirão Série B ao ser derrotado de virada para a Ferroviária, em Araraquara, na última sexta-feira. Um resultado marcado tanto pela atuação um tanto irregular do time paranaense como pela expulsão de Mozart.
O treinador do Coxa, nos acréscimos finais da segunda etapa, acabou levando o cartão vermelho depois de fazer uma reclamação com forte veemência à arbitragem. Após o jogo, justificou o tom da reclamação e evitou críticas mais contundentes à arbitragem
“Eu só queria que o árbitro explicasse a falta que ele deu do Brumado. É impossível fazer a falta naquele lance ali, eu joguei e posso te garantir. Foi minha segunda expulsão na carreira em 300 jogos. Ninguém tem sangue de barata. Ali foi mais frustração do que outra coisa. Não vai se repetir”, disse o treinador
Mas a revolta da expulsão também pode ser dividida com o resultado, uma virada a qual Mozart apontou como uma partida na qual o Coritiba teve apresentações distintas nos dois primeiros tempos do duelo, que acabaram atrapalhando o rendimento do time em campo;
“Fizemos um primeiro tempo sólido. Teve uma bola na trave do Carlão, mas criamos, saímos na frente, tivemos alguns contratações e era para a gente ter matado o jogo. Iniciamos bem o segundo tempo, tivemos duas boas chances. Aí, eles (Ferroviária) tiveram volume de jogo maior que nosso. Nos dez minutos em diante, eles foram superiores. Criaram mais chances, acertaram a trave e viraram o jogo”, disse o comandante do Coxa
“A gente tem que tirar aprendizado deste jogo. A gente não pode virar uma virada como esta e ter dois tempos distintos, como aconteceu”, completou
