Florida Panthers forward Sam Bennett won’t face any supplemental discipline for his forearm to the head of Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Anthony Stolarz, according to league sources.
Bennett clipped Stolarz in the head area in the second period of Game 1. He wasn’t penalized on the play.
Stolarz remained down on the ice following the collision. He consulted with Maple Leafs head athletic therapist Paul Ayotte on the bench during the ensuing TV timeout and remained in the game for another two-plus minutes of action.

During the next TV timeout, Stolarz skated to the Leafs’ bench and threw up. He was replaced then and there by Joseph Woll and was later taken to the hospital for evaluation.
“Elbow to the head,” Leafs coach Craig Berube said afterward. “Clearly. Clear as day.”
Woll stopped 17 of 20 shots in Stolarz’s place to secure the Leafs’ 5-4 Game 1 win. Woll will start Game 2 in the event that Stolarz is unavailable.
