The first ticketing packages for next summer’s men’s World Cup went on sale on Tuesday, with the release of a collection of high-end hospitality options.

The initial release was limited to certain hospitality offerings involving several games packaged together, starting at $5300 per person and climbing to an eye-popping $73,200.

Regular tickets are expected to go on sale later this year, with prices yet to be fully detailed. When the United Bid was presented by the U.S., Canada and Mexico as part of its co-hosting application, the bid document stressed that its projection of $1.8 billion in ticket sales was conservative, and estimated that group game ticket prices would average $305.

Tuesday’s release was specifically targeted towards the hospitality sector, in conjunction with OnLocation, FIFA’s hospitality partner. The first phase was limited to U.S. venues and included three types of packages.

The U.S. Venue Series offers the opportunity to buy tickets to matches to every match in each of the 11 U.S.-based host cities. Of those, Dallas is the only city scheduled to host nine tournament games, with Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta getting eight each. The full eight-game New York package includes the final, at the Meadowlands, on July 19 next year, and begins at $25,800, while the $73,200 figure is for the most luxurious option. The Los Angeles package, featuring the USMNT’s opening game on June 12, has a range of $20,300 to $35,350. The cheapest selection in this category was $8275 for the six games at Levi’s Stadium, renamed as San Francisco Bay Stadium for the tournament.

“There’s going to be a wide range of products that touch almost every fan type to have a neat experience,” Alicia Falken, general manager of OnLocation’s World Cup ’26 business, told The Athletic. “The World Cup is a bucket list event.”

The U.S. Four-Match Series allows the chances to acquire hospitality tickets at four games across various U.S. venues of the purchaser’s choosing, with some restrictions. Two of the matches must be scheduled on Mondays through Thursdays, and the USMNT’s L.A. opener is excluded. A sample package in this section priced out by The Athletic, with games at the Meadowlands and in Philadelphia, came in at $5800.

The two packages above include access to seating options like private suites, pitchside lounges, and numerous other shared lounge and hospitality options.

“They are much more than just tickets, there are elevated experiences, immersive ways for fans to take in the experiences and take in a tournament,” Falken said. “We are preparing curated culinary offerings, local flavors, highlighting traditions of the host cities and embracing the vibrant experience of the World Cup.”

Finally, the Follow My Team series gives the chance watch their favorite team at every early stage match, and includes access to the FIFA Pavillion, billed as “an exclusive retreat steps from the respective stadium for pre-and-post match hospitality and entertainment, and premium seating in the stadium.” Even though qualifying is still underway and the draw allocating qualified teams to their respective match slots and cities will not take place until December, it is possible to select a team to follow through its group campaign, with prices beginning at $6600.

The hospitality packages also include perks such as curated menu options, special guest appearances, commemorative gifts and expedited venue entrance through dedicated security checkpoints.

Falken told The Athletic that prices for the venue series would start at $3500 for four matches, but that option was not available on the site on Tuesday. The only World Cup venues to host four matches are Monterrey and Guadalajara, in Mexico.

OnLocation has provided hospitality at multiple Super Bowls and Falken said it delivered the largest sports hospitality program in history at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She added that compared to other major sports events and premium concerts, the World Cup packages were competitively priced.

“Obviously there’s going to be very high-end exclusive things that are offered, but everything down to what we said with the four-match series, four matches for ($3500). You look at what a concert ticket costs and I feel that that is fairly affordable for a hospitality ticket.”
