Turnaj pro nejlepší beachvolejbalové ženské a mužské páry světa se v Ostravě rozehraje 28. května. Pětidenní sportovní svátek nabídne desítky napínavých zápasů, bohatý doprovodný program a jedno speciální překvapení, jehož součástí bude legendární fotbalista Jan Koller. V sobotu 31. května se v exhibičním utkání po boku Kristýny „Kiki“ Kolocové postaví některému z profesionálních týmů plážového volejbalu.

„Mám rád výzvy a tohle je jedna z nich. I když pro mě hodně netypická. Výškou bych tam mohl zapadnout, uvidíme, jak uměním,“ zasmál se Koller. „Na písku mám rád plážový fotbal, takže specifikace tohoto povrchu znám, snad mi to pomůže. Uvidíme na konci května v Ostravě,“ doplnil bývalý reprezentační kanonýr.

Exhibiční utkání se uskuteční na kurtu ve fanzóně v sobotu 31. května po 18 hodině. „Vstup do fanzóny je po celou dobu turnaje zdarma a sobotní program slibuje mimořádnou podívanou. Fanoušci se budou moci s Janem Kollerem nejen setkat, ale také si i ‚zapinkat‘. Ve dvojici s beachvolejbalovou hvězdou Kristýnou Kolocovou nastoupí do exhibičního utkání proti jednomu z českých reprezentačních párů,“ uvedl Štěpán Sedláček z organizátorského týmu ostravského turnaje.

A dodává, že o vítěze nepůjde. „Hlavní bude pohoda, zábava a skvělá atmosféra. Přesto ale bude zajímavé zjistit, jak si s pětapadesáti góly nejlepší střelec v historii českého národního týmu ve fotbale povede mezi profesionály nad sítí.“

V Ostravě se od středy 28. května do neděle 1. června bude každý den hrát čtyřiadvacet zápasů a v nich se představí nejlepší plážoví volejbalisté světa. Z Čechů má místo v hlavní soutěži zajištěn nejlepší český mužský pár Ondřej Perušič a David Schweiner i české dvojky Jakub Šépka a Jiří Sedlák. Divokou kartu do hlavní soutěže získaly Štochlová se Svozilovou a v kvalifikaci se představí Anna a Kateřina Pavelkovy a Tadeáš Trousil s Matyášem Džavoronokem.
