O Vasco teve nesta quarta-feira, contra o Puerto Cabello, sua pior atuação em 2025 e em muito tempo. Com desempenho desastroso, o cruz-maltino não conseguiu sequer competir contra os venezuelanos em Valência e foi derrotado numa marcante goleada por 4 a 1. O gol dos cariocas foi marcado por João Victor, de cabeça.

Apesar da goleada sofrida, o Vasco continua na segunda colocação do grupo G da Sul-Americana com cinco pontos. O Lanus-ARG lidera com oito.

No próximo sábado, o Vasco volta a campo contra o Vitória, às 18h30, no Barradão. Posteriormente, o cruz-maltino visitará o Lanus, em Buenos Aires, na terça-feira.
