According to Baldoni’s legal filings, Lively name-dropped Swift to push for changes in the film’s production, even claiming Swift attended a post-production meeting at Lively’s New York City apartment. This revelation has put Swift in the spotlight, with reports suggesting she might be subpoenaed to testify under oath.
Lively’s attorney, Mike Gottlieb, addressed the speculation in an exclusive interview with People. “It’s completely unclear what claims or defenses in the case any of these celebrities… have any relevance to at all,” Gottlieb said, questioning the need to involve Swift, along with Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, and his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star Hugh Jackman.

He emphasized the case’s core issue: “This is a case about what happened to Blake Lively when she raised claims of sexual harassment on the set.” Gottlieb also challenged Baldoni’s motives, adding, “You can’t just go around subpoenaing people because they’re famous and you think it will generate a bunch of headlines.”
The controversy has reportedly taken a toll on Swift, who was spotted with Lively at Super Bowl LVIII in 2024, cheering for Kelce. Sources say Swift felt “really hurt” by the situation, though she and Lively have since reconciled.
