The 2025 Draft surprised everyone with the fall of Shedeur Sanders to the fifth round, selected by the Browns with the 144th pick, despite being projected as a top 10 pick. This is a great opportunity for him to not only silence his critics, but to prove that they were wrong to doubt him. First and foremost, he has to earn a spot in this highly coveted and competitive position.

That won’t be easy. He’ll have to compete with fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel and veteran Joe Flacco, but little by little, he can earn his spot. He can learn a lot from Flacco, which should be his goal at 23 years old.

Once the nerves settle, he’ll loosen up and show a better version of himself during rookie minicamp.
