TSV Hannover-Burgdorf
Seit 2009 spielt die TSV Hannover-Burgdorf in der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga. Im 16. Jahr ihrer Zugehörigkeit zur besten Liga der Welt stehen die Niedersachsen so gut wie noch nie da.
Platz 3 nach 28 Spieltagen, erst 13 Minuspunkte, das internationale Geschäft winkt. Und bereits vor dem Saisonende kann die Mannschaft von Ex-Bundestrainer Christian Prokop (46) eine persönliche Bestmarke knacken.

Handball-Klub vor Vereins-Rekord
Die bislang beste Punktausbeute aus einer Saison schafften die Niedersachsen in der Spielzeit 2017/18. Damals holte die TSV Hannover-Burgdorf 47:21-Punkte und Platz 6.
Für einen neuen Punkterekord fehlen der TSV nur noch fünf Punkte, mit noch zwei Siegen und einem Remis wäre das Ziel erreicht. Die noch verbleibenden Gegner heißen zu Hause MT Melsungen, 1. VfL Potsdam und THW Kiel. Auswärts muss die TSV noch beim SC Magdeburg, bei der SG Flensburg-Handewitt und beim VfL Gummersbach antreten.

Einen anderen Vereins-Rekord hatte die TSV Hannover-Burgdorf bereits geknackt. Zu den bisher 14 absolvierten Bundesliga-Heimspielen kamen 126.699 Zuschauer (9050 im Schnitt) in die ZAG-Arena.
Damit wurde die alte Bestmarke aus der Saison 2023/23 gleich in der Folgesaison verbessert. Damals kamen insgesamt 115.063 Zuschauer, das entsprach einem Schnitt von 6768 pro Partie.
Freitag (20 Uhr, live bei Dyn/Anzeige) wird es beim Spitzenspiel gegen die MT Melsungen wieder rappelvoll in der ZAG-Arena. Bisher sind bereits über 9400 Karten verkauft. Es wäre keine Überraschung, wenn die Halle zum neunten Mal in dieser Saison ausverkauft ist.
