Dynamo nutzt den zweiten Matchball!
In Bielefeld fehlten Dresden nur ein paar Sekunden zur Aufstiegsparty, durch David Kubattas Eigentor in der 5. Minute der Nachspielzeit wurde die Feier vertagt. Der zweite Matchball wurde trotz 0:1-Niederlage in Mannheim nun genutzt – weil zeitgleich Alemannia Aachen Verfolger Saarbrücken 4:2 schlug!
Einen Spieltag vor Schluss hat die SGD fünf Punkte Vorsprung auf Platz drei, kann nicht mehr von einem der zwei Aufstiegsplätzen versrängt werden.

In Mannheim werden die Dresdner von 4000 Fans unterstützt, die – alle in Gelb – gleich die komplette Westtribüne des Carl-Benz-Stadions fluten.
Sie sehen in der ersten Halbzeit eine abgeklärte Leistung ihres Teams. Defensiv steht die SGD sicher, beschränkt sich nach vorn auf gelegentliche Nadelstiche.
Mehr ist auch nicht nötig, weil Saarbrücken zur Pause in Aachen 0:1 zurück liegt. Bedeutet: Nach 45 Minuten ist Dynamo Dresden durch.

Dresden-Fans stürmen bei Abpfiff sofort den Platz. Auch viele Mannheim-Anhänger, zum Teil vermummt, wollen auf den Rasen, sie haben den Klassenerhalt so gut wie sicher. Aus dem Mannheim-Block fliegen mehrere Pyro-Raketen auf den Rasen.
Der Waldhof-Stadionsprecher sagt durch: „Bleibt in euren Lagern! Schießt keine Feuerwerkskörper in die Menge. Das ist gefährlich Leute!“
Nach wenigen Augenblicken bekommt die Polizei die Lage aber unter Kontrolle, kann die Mannheimer wieder in den Block bringen und die Dresdener zurück in die andere Richtung bringen.

Übrigens: Arminia Bielefeld steigt in die 2. Bundesliga auf! Cottbus (gewinnt 3:1 in Rostock) und Saarbrücken spielen für die Bielefelder. Das Team von Michél Kniat (39) kann so ganz entspannt vom Sofa aus, den Aufstieg feiern. Morgen können die Bielefelder (derzeit 66 Punkte) mit einem Sieg gegen Unterhaching sogar noch am Tabellenersten Dynamo Dresden (67 Punkte) vorbeiziehen.
Cottbus und Saarbrücken (beide 62 Punkte) liefern sich am letzten Spieltag (17.5) einen engen Kampf um den dritten Platz (Relegationsplatz).
