Enquanto o ex-goleiro foi defendido em um projeto de longo prazo, o comandante do Fluminense, de maneira imediata, poderia recolocar o time nos eixos antes da Copa do Mundo. Porém, no momento, nenhum dos profissionais citados se encontra nos planos da CBF.
“Se a CBF quiser um treinador brasileiro, é Rogério Ceni ou Renato Gaúcho. Um desses dois. Lógico que vai ser outra seleção brasileira com o Rogério Ceni. Falando de Copa do Mundo, seria o Renato Gaúcho. Ele é muito bom para lidar com imediatismo. O Renato Gaúcho consegue convocar o cara e, na boleiragem dele, consegue (sucesso) com essa velocidade.”, disse Cicinho, ao podcast Boteco do Chula, no YouTube.
“O Rogério Ceni precisou de um certo tempo para transformar o Fortaleza. Hoje, está transformando o Bahia em um (time) vencedor.”, acrescentou.
