Felipe Melo teceu muitos elogios à torcida do Cruzeiro. Acompanhando a partida contra o Flamengo na semana passada, pelo Brasileirão, o ex-volante destacou a força das arquibancadas do Mineirão nos 90 minutos e que é corriqueiro nos jogos da Raposa em Belo Horizonte.
Em sua avaliação, o time comandado por Leonardo Jardim se faz muito mais forte em seus domínios, muito também pelo apoio incondicional que recebe dos seus torcedores.
“O Cruzeiro dentro de casa é fortíssimo. A torcida do Cruzeiro faz uma festa incrível no Mineirão, você viu contra o Flamengo como foi, uma verdadeira gritaria”, disse Felipe Melo.
No reencontro de Gabigol com o Flamengo, melhor para a Raposa que venceu por 2 a 1. Por ironia do destino, coube ao ex-camisa 10 rubro-negro decretar o triunfo celeste.

Felipe Melo não tem dúvidas de que o Cruzeiro é outro sob o comando de Leonardo Jardim. Para o comentarista do Grupo Globo, são claros os sinais de reação da equipe mineira nestas últimas partidas, sobretudo na Série A.
A entrada de Kaio Jorge na vaga de Gabriel Barbosa deu outra mobilidade ao setor ofensivo. Melo entende que, com o passar do tempo, a tendência é de um time cada vez mais competitivo.
“O Jardim é um muito bom treinador. E tem que dar tempo ao tempo. E tem que dar para o treinador, algo que muitos clubes não fazem. ‘Tome as decisões que você ache corretas’”, alegou.
