Um dos grandes laterais deste século, Cicinho foi o convidado do podcast “Boteco do Chula”, feito por Aloísio Chulapa, seu companheiro dos tempos de São Paulo.
Com passagens por Atlético-MG, São Paulo, Real Madrid, Roma e seleção brasileira, o ex-lateral foi perguntado sobre quem teria sido o melhor treinador que ele trabalhou. O escolhido foi Paulo Autuori, campeão da Libertadores e do Mundial pelo SPFC.
“Melhor treinador foi o Paulo Autuori, pelo caráter, pela maneira de trabalhar, por tudo”, disse.
Melhor jogador
Na sequência, Cicinho teve que dizer quem foi o melhor jogador que ele atuou ao lado. Então, o comentarista da Band não titubeou e escolheu Ronaldo Fenômeno, seu companheiro de Real Madrid e seleção brasileira.
“Melhor jogador foi o Ronaldo Fenômeno, não teve igual. Joguei com Ronaldinho Gaúcho, com Zidane, caras que foram melhor do mundo, mas o Fenômeno era coisa de doido. O que aquele cara fazia era absurdo. Fora a personalidade do cara”, opinou.
Cicinho ainda completa, dizendo que Ronaldo não era um atleta dedicado e mesmo assim conseguia fazer a diferença.
“Ele não tinha nada de atleta. E mesmo sem ser atleta, ele era diferenciado, tinha velocidade. A linha de raciocínio dele era à frente dos demais. Ele pensava em jogadas que quando você ia ver ele já tinha executado”, completou.
Cicinho critica jogadores atuais
Em seguida, o ex-jogador do São Paulo criticou os jogadores da geração atual, entendendo que não há comparação com Ronaldo, nem com nomes como Adriano e Ronaldinho.
“Eu fico vendo hoje gente querendo comparar “fulaninho” com ele (Ronaldo), gente, não dá. Compara com os normais, deixa os ETs fora. Querem comprar o “fulaninho” com Adriano Imperador, Romário… não da, não tem comparação. Você pode pegar Zico, Ademir da Guia, Rivellino e comparar com esses gênios, ai da. Agora, querem comprar a geração de hoje, Vinícius Júnior com Ronaldinho Gaúcho, não tem cabimento”, finalizou Cicinho.
Em outro momento da entrevista, o comentarista da Band criticou a seleção brasileira atual, entendendo que chega, no máximo, nas quartas de final da Copa do Mundo 2026.
