Numa parceria inédita dentro dos 15 anos de evento, o Botafogo e o Cinefoot exibirão nesta terça-feira um dia temático com oito produções em homenagem ao alvinegro. Dessas, seis falarão sobre a temporada histórica do clube em 2024, uma lembrará o título da Copa Conmebol em 1993 e outra falará sobre a história do ídolo Didi. As transmissões serão no Estação Net Rio, em Botafogo, com retirada gratuita de ingressos via Sympla.
Ao todo, serão três sessões. Às17h, elas remeterão principalmente aos títulos de 2024 em produções independentes. Às 19h, em ação preparada pela BotafogoTV, o público assistirá os bastidores da conquista da Libertadores e terá a oportunidade de conversar com funcionários da equipe. Já a última, às 21h, terão as produções relacionadas à conquista da Copa Conmebol e ao ídolo Didi.

Em um cenário sem esperança, entre decepções e crise financeira, o Botafogo em 1993 temia sua extinção. Com um elenco desmantelado e sem recursos, o clube não tinha outra opção a não ser utilizar jovens talentos da base, muitos deles sem experiência em grandes competições. À frente dessa jornada épica está Carlos Alberto Torres, que assume o comando de um time sem rumo nem autoestima. E, mesmo fora de campo, ele se torna a figura central na busca pelo renascimento.
