Desde que assumiu o comando técnico do Corinthians, o treinador Dorival Júnior deixou claro que iria rodar o elenco e dar oportunidade para diversos jogadores. Esse cenário será mantido na próxima quinta-feira (15), para a partida da 5ª rodada da Copa Sul-Americana contra o Racing-URU, às 19h (horário de Brasília).
O Timão divulgou nesta quarta-feira (14), a lista dos atletas que estarão à disposição do técnico para esta partida. A principal novidade é a presença do jovem atacante Kayke, que foi relacionado para um duelo do time profissional pela primeira vez no ano.
Por outro lado, Dorival não poderá contar com Raniele. Conforme divulgado pelo próprio clube, o volante, com edema no músculo anterior da coxa direita. Além dele, o Corinthians não poderá contar com Memphis Depay (entorse no tornozelo direito), Gustavo Henrique (tratamento de uma hérnia inguinal), Rodrigo Garro (sob os cuidados da equipe de fisioterapia) e Félix Torres (suspenso pelo cartão vermelho direto recebido contra o Racing).

O que o Corinthians precisa fazer para se classificar?
A equipe treinada por Dorival Júnior vai para a 5ª rodada da Copa Sul-Americana com cinco pontos, um atrás do América de Cali, segundo colocado, e cinco atrás do Huracán, líder do Grupo C.
Para garantir a liderança do grupo o Corinthians precisará de uma combinação de resultados. Além de vencer seus dois próximos jogos, será necessário que a equipe argentina seja derrota nesta rodada para o time colombiano. Além disso, o América poderá no máximo empatar com o Racing na última rodada.
A outra possibilidade, e que depende só do Timão, é conseguir uma vaga nos playoffs da Copa Sul-Americana, um cenário que só depende da equipe alvinegra. Se chegar aos 11 pontos, o clube terminará a fase de grupos pelo menos na 2ª colocação.
Vale citar que um empate contra o Racing-URU não elimina o Corinthians, mas deixa o clube sem chances de assumir a liderança e dependendo de uma combinação de resultados para ultrapassar o América de Cali.
Mudanças na escalação
Por conta de lesões e desgaste físico, Dorival Júnior irá mais uma vez promover mudanças no time titular. A provável escalação do Corinthians deverá ter: Hugo Souza; Léo Maná, André Ramalho, Tchoa e Matheus Bidu; José Martinez, Maycon, Charles, André Carrillo e Igor Coronado; Héctor Hernández e Romero.
