Após um início ruim nos primeiros jogos pelo Botafogo, o atacante Artur consegue engrenar com a camisa alvinegra. No jogo desta quarta-feira, em um duelo importante para a sobrevivência da equipe na Libertadores, o jogador fez o gol da vitória por 3 a 2 sobre a equipe argentina, Estudiantes, aos 40 minutos do segundo tempo.
Em entrevista na saída do jogo ele enalteceu a atituda da equipe ao não desistir do jogo após o empate e ressaltou a importância do jogo.
— Estou muito feliz pelo gol, pelo empenho da equipe. Não desistiu em nenhum momento. A gente sofreu ali, achou que estava controlado, mas futebol é isso. Empataram. Mais uma noite de futebol que vai ficar marcado para toda a vida. Não desisti em nenhum momento e aos 40 faço um golaço e estou muito feliz, parabens a torcida, fez uma festa maravilhosa. E tinha tudo que dar certo hoje — disse o atacante.
Artur foi um dos principais jogadores em campo. Além do belo gol ao final da partida, o atacante também deu o passe para Rwan Cruz abrir o placar do jogo.
Com a vitória, o Botafogo continua em terceiro, mas a um ponto do líder do grupo A, o Universidad do Chile e empatado com o Estudiantes, o segundo colocado.
Próximo jogo do alvinegro será o clássico contra o Flamengo, neste domingo, às 18h30. Já na Libertadores, a equipe enfrentará o Universidad do Chile.
