Englands Top-Klubs und der FC Bayern buhlen um die Gunst des Leverkusen-Juwels. Nach SPORT BILD-Informationen tendiert der 22-Jährige zu den Bayern, soll sich mit dem Rekordmeister einig sein. Man City soll im Gegensatz zu Bayern aber schon ein Angebot abgegeben haben. Und auch Liverpool mischt mit.
Ein Ex-Profi der „Reds“ ist Feuer und Flamme für Florian Wirtz, eines der begehrtesten Talente Europas: „Er ist unglaublich. Ich habe ihn in diesem Jahr dreimal gesehen und er hat mich jedes Mal umgehauen“, sagte Joe Cole (43) zu „TNT Sports“.
Wirtz verbinde „südamerikanisches Flair mit deutscher Effizienz“. Cole vergleicht ihn mit Mega-Stars wie Jude Bellingham (21) und Cole Palmer (23): „Er ist genauso talentiert.“

Mit seinem Juwel fährt Leverkusen einen Knallhart-Kurs: Der Bayer-Konzern ist grundsätzlich bereit, Wirtz ziehen zu lassen – allerdings nur, wenn die festgelegte Ablösesumme von 150 Millionen Euro bezahlt wird. Für Manchester City wäre diese Summe wohl kein Problem, aber auch die Bayern wollen tief in die Tasche greifen.
An der Säbener Straße stellt man sich allerdings die Summe von 100 Millionen Euro vor. Und: Wirtz wäre wohl bereit, bis Sommer 2026 mit dem Wechsel zu den Bayern zu warten. Dann wäre er günstiger zu haben …
