JuanAyuso fue el gran protagonista de la jornada en el Giro de Italia tras conquistar con autoridad el primer final en alto de esta edición. Al día siguiente, el ciclista del UAETeam Emirates posó sonriente con la portada de MARCA que recogía su exhibición bajo el título “Ayushow”, reflejo de su talento y ambición.

Con su victoria en Tagliacozzo, el joven corredor español suma ya 14 triunfos en su carrera y ha confirmando su excelente estado de forma. Ayuso se ha consolidado como uno de los grandes aspirantes al título final, en una pugna directa con Primoz Roglic por el trono de la Corsa Rosa.

El corredor español del UAE Team suma tres portadas completas del periódico líder en los últimos 52 días. “Y esperemos que no sea esta la última. Ojalá vengan más”, reflejan desde el equipo a este medio. Quizá, en Roma, ¿de rosa? Los sueños están para cumplirse. 

Lo hace con una sonrisa cómplice al ver la ‘tapa’, en la que aparece comiéndose un plato de espaguetis.

A sus 22 años, Ayuso está firmando un 2025 espectacular. Además de su victoria parcial en el Giro, ha ganado la general de la Tirreno-Adriático, el Trofeo Laigueglia y la Faun Drome Classic, además de etapas tanto en la Tirreno como en la Volta a Catalunya. Resultados que no hacen más que apuntalar su candidatura a ser el gran referente del ciclismo español en la próxima década.

Su palmarés engorda. Ha ganado en pruebas WorldTour de prestigio como el Tour de Suiza y la Itzulia, y ha sido podio en generales tan exigentes como la del propio Tour de Suiza (2.º en 2023) o la Tirreno-Adriático (2.º en 2024). Un palmarés que crece sin prisa pero sin pausa, y que invita a soñar con otro éxito en Roma.
