V předchozích duelech se hodně probíraly vstupy reprezentace do zápasů. Myslím, že proti Kazachstáncům jsme nastoupili slušně. Měli jsme dva brejky, jeden proměnili. Zkrátka jsem z týmu cítil větší chuť, čemuž asi pomohla i lepší atmosféra v Herningu.
Určitě bych pozitivně hodnotil, že si gól dali i hráči z nižších lajn. Třeba Adam Klapka má první dva zářezy za národní tým, což mu do dalších zápasů jistě zvedne sebevědomí.
MS v hokeji 2025
88. ročník mistrovství světa v hokeji je na programu v termínu od 9. do 25. května 2025. Hostí jej Švédsko a Dánsko, konkrétně města Stockholm a Herning.
A pak je tady Červus, který hrál ve velké pohodě. Gratuluju mu, že dal ve svém stém utkání za nároďák hattrick. To je krásná oslava. Celkově má obdivuhodnou kariéru. Bylo mi ctí, že jsem si s ním mohl zahrát. Na vrcholu se drží hrozně dlouho a je vidět, kolik hokeji obětuje a jak se připravuje. Proto ještě v tomhle věku (39) hraje na takové úrovni.
První lajna celkově hraje ve velké pohodě. S těmito soupeři vynikne umění a herní myšlení jednotlivých hráčů. Vědí o sobě, umí si nahrát. Těžší zápasy samozřejmě přijdou, ale tímhle se na ně dobře naladili.
Skupinu zakončíme proti Němcům a Američanům. Jsem na to zvědavý, jedu se podívat přímo do Herningu. V pondělí začneme s Němci, kteří jsou nepříjemným soupeřem. Hodně zarputilí a houževnatí. Nic nedají zadarmo, Američané by z dneška mohli vyprávět. Samozřejmě máme kvalitu na to, abychom je porazili, ale nesmíme nic podcenit.
Důležité je, že skupinu končíme s těžšími protivníky. Maďarsko s Kazachstánem by nás totiž na čtvrtfinále asi moc nepřipravili.

Vyzkoušel si nejvyšší soutěž ve Finsku, Švédsku, Rusku i Švýcarsku, v NHL má na svém kontě 10 utkání za Los Angeles. Aktuálně působí v roli sportovního ředitele v Mladé Boleslavi.
