Felipe Melo, admirador declarado de Fernando Diniz, vê um impacto no Vasco causado através do treinador. Reagindo ao duelo contra o Fortaleza, pelo Brasileirão, o ex-jogador quis lembrar o tempo necessário para o comandante, de fato, estabelecer o modelo totalmente particular. Neste cenário, apesar do triunfo importante em São Januário, os torcedores podem lidar com oscilações nas próximas partidas.
“O trabalho do Diniz é saída de bola, superioridade pelos lados do campo… essas jogadas do Diniz demandam tempo. É um início de trabalho. Oscilar faz parte do processo. Paciência, torcida vascaína.”, disse Felipe Melo, em vídeo nos stories no Instagram.
“Paciência quando não tiver indo bem, e tampouco achar que vai ganhar todos os jogos daqui até o final do campeonato. Paciência, passo a passo, dia a dia… acho que o Vasco vai melhorar muito.”, acrescentou.
Após o revés na estreia de Diniz, a apresentação do Vasco mostrou superioridade e fez jus ao apoio dos torcedores. Levando em conta a exigência prioritária atrelada ao técnico, Felipe Melo fez questão de ressaltar o comportamento altamente competitivo em campo.
“É o mesmo time que, alguns dias atrás, todo mundo estava falando mal. São os mesmos jogadores. Mudou o treinador e consigo crer que mudou o ambiente e a postura do time dentro de campo.”
“Eu falei que o Vasco, com o Diniz, iria mudar a postura e competir dentro de campo. Um time dinâmico, com vontade de vencer e com fibra.”, externou.

Encarando um adversário difícil, o Vasco foi eficiente para somar três pontos importantes. Totalmente convicto, Felipe Melo deixou claro que o resultado não ocorreu pela incompetência do Leão do Pici.
“O Fortaleza não jogou tão bem. Não é porque está em dia ruim, é porque o Vasco foi bem. Tem que dar mérito ao Vasco. Os jogadores não esqueceram de jogar futebol. Técnica, muitos deles têm. Gana, vontade e raça têm que ter sempre. Isso que mudou no Vasco.”, opinou.
