Arsenal midfielder Frida Maanum has signed a new deal with the club.
The 25-year-old Norway international joined Arsenal in July 2021 from Swedish side Linkoping FC. She has made 150 appearances across all competitions, scoring 40 goals and winning two League Cups in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 campaigns.

Maanum signed her previous deal with the club in the summer of 2023. Arsenal have not confirmed the length of her new contract.
This season, the midfielder scored seven goals and provided two assists in the Women’s Super League, helping Arsenal to a second-place finish behind six-time title winners Chelsea, while also securing Champions League qualification.
Her four goals and two assists in this season’s Champions League campaign have helped secure Arsenal a place in the competition’s final this weekend against reigning champions Barcelona.
Maanum has scored 13 goals and provided five assists in 40 appearances in all competitions for the north London club this season. She will carry the form into this summer’s European Championship with Norway, with whom she has won 89 caps and scored 21 goals for since her debut in 2017.
On the new contract, Maanum told the club website: “I love playing for this club, everything about it – the supporters, the community, playing at Emirates Stadium. Seeing how the club has developed over the last few years only makes me more excited to continue my journey here.
“We’ve had such special moments this season and getting to share those with our supporters has been amazing, I’m looking forward to continuing celebrating with them and giving everything for this team.”
Head Coach Renee Slegers added: “I’m delighted that Frida has signed a new contract here with us. She’s such an important player in the group and has made a big contribution to what we’ve achieved as a group during my time as head coach. I know Frida has the ambition and drive to continue striving for improvement as we continue to aim to compete for the highest honours together.”
