Sormani acredita que o Palmeiras é o grande favorito ao título da Copa Libertadores da América, mas há outro que tem chances de ir longe: trata-se do SPFC de Luis Zubeldía. Para o jornalista, o Tricolor Paulista tem time para brigar pelas competições de mata-mata.
“Eu acho que o São Paulo tem chances na Libertadores e Copa do Brasil. Eu acho esse elenco do São Paulo bem legal. Não acho o elenco ruim. É que nem o Santos, o elenco não é ruim, mas faz um campeonato horroroso. O São Paulo não faz um campeonato pavoroso, mas poderia estar rendendo mais com esse elenco. Acho que tem condições de brigar lá em cima em todos campeonatos”, disse ele.
O São Paulo não está tão bem no Brasileirão, porém caminha de forma bem nos mata-matas. Na Libertadores, a equipe do MorumBIS soma 11 pontos no grupo D e já está classificado para a próxima fase.
Sormani coloca Palmeiras como favorito
Já o Verdão está com 15 pontos, é o único clube da competição com 100% de aproveitamento e está com vaga garantida nas oitavas de final.
No Brasileirão, o time comandado por Abel Ferreira também lidera, com 22 pontos contra 18 do Flamengo. Após perder a final do Paulistão para o Corinthians, o Palmeiras cresceu muito de produção e vive uma fase dominante no Brasil e América do Sul.
Sormani aposta que o Alviverde é favorito no Campeonato Brasileiro e Libertadores neste ano. O Rubro-Negro de Filipe Luís é o maior concorrente do Verdão, algo que se tornou rotina nos últimos anos no futebol brasileiro.
Vale lembrar que os dois clubes, além de Botafogo e Fluminense, irão disputar também o Super Mundial de Clubes da Fifa.

A man from outside Pittsburgh is facing criminal charges for allegedly giving alcohol to Kavan Markwood, the 20-year-old who fell from the PNC Park stands onto the right field warning track during an April 20 game between the Pirates and the Chicago Cubs.Police arrested 21-year-old Ethan Kirkwood of McKeesport, Pa., on Tuesday.
