Few would dispute that there’s much to learn from a figure like Jordan, especially for an athlete of Jalen Hurts‘ caliber, who became a cornerstone of the Eagles‘ championship triumph and earned Super Bowl MVP honors.
During the offseason, the quarterback shared insights about his encounter with the NBA legend.

“As competitive as he is, it would be unwise of me not to seek knowledge from him and lean on someone like that, so it’s something that I value a lot,” Hurts told the press. “One of the biggest things is taking it one day at a time. We have these goals and big dreams of things we want to accomplish, but ultimately it’s a journey. So take it day-by-day. Like I said earlier, being able to decode, detect and correct, and pretty much just refine. Refine the things that I need to so I can be at my best when needed.”
Hurts, a Jordan Brand athlete, was spotted dining with the legendary NBA star in March, with photos circulating on social media. It’s a rare privilege to learn from someone who dominated his sport time and again.
At just 26 years old, Hurts has emerged as one of the NFL‘s top talents. Despite some doubts about how he stacks up against other quarterbacks, his effectiveness is undeniable, backed by his impressive stats.
The Philadelphia Eagles will kick off their season against the Dallas Cowboys, aiming to start strong as they pursue another Super Bowl title.
