The Colorado Buffaloes product inked a four-year, $4.6 million rookie deal, following a dramatic 2025 NFL Draft where he went from a projected first-round quarterback to being selected in the fifth round at pick 144.
Sanders secured a $447,380 signing bonus, prompting a wave of fan reactions on social media.

Most comments were positive, with one Browns fan championing Sanders and his chance to silence doubters.

However, as the internet often goes, not everyone was thrilled about the QB‘s signing as he vies for the starting role with the team.
“$4.6M more than he’s worth tbh,” one user posted. Others called Sanders “overpaid, tbh” or labeled his contract a “MASSIVE overpay.”
