Der SC Magdeburg steht vor einem echten Kraftakt: drei Bundesliga-Spiele in einer Woche.
Nach dem 34:28-Heimsieg gegen Hannover geht es am Donnerstag (19 Uhr/Dyn) gegen Eisenach weiter. Und am Sonntag (16.30 Uhr) wartet das nächste Auswärtsspiel in Potsdam.
SCM-Trainer Bennet Wiegert (43) bleibt trotz der Belastung cool: „Für mich ist immer wichtig, dass 48 Stunden dazwischen liegen, weil man den Spielern da zumindest etwas entgegenkommen kann und auch eine ordentliche taktische Vorbereitung hat. Auch wenn wir Trainer alle immer gerne länger hatten, aber mit 48 Stunden kann ich was anfangen.“
[–>Er ergänzt: „In diesem Rhythmus arbeite ich regelmäßig. Und dann wird die erste richtige Verschnaufpause von einer Woche vor dem Champions League Final Four sein. Aber jetzt geht es einfach Schlag auf Schlag.“
Trotz des straffen Programms will er bei seinen Jungs die Freude am Spiel hochhalten: „Ich versuche, den Spielern immer wieder das richtige Mindset zu vermitteln: Das ist toll. Genießt das. Ihr alle wollt nicht mit mir trainieren. Fühlt euch einfach in den Spielen wohler als vielleicht in Trainingseinheiten mit mir.“
Und mit einem Augenzwinkern sagt er auch: „Wenn man natürlich den Spieler fragt, wird der immer sagen: Es ist wichtiger zu regenerieren, als mich mit dir ins Video zu setzen.“

Personell kann Wiegert im Schlussspurt aus dem Vollen schöpfen. Lediglich die beiden Langzeitverletzten Manuel Zehnder (25. Kreuzbandriss) und Matthias Musche (32, Achillessehnenriss) stehen nicht zur Verfügung.
Wiegert: „Der Rest sieht gut aus. Die haben Kleinigkeiten, aber die sind aufgrund der Anzahl der Spiele völlig normal. Da versuchen wir, die Zeit zwischen den Spielen bestmöglich zur Entlastung zu nutzen, um dann in den Spielen weiterhin all in sein zu können.“
Denn es geht für die Magdeburger noch um zwei Titel.
