Napoli coach Antonio Conte could pull off incredible feat that even Carlo Ancelotti and Fabio Capello haven’t

Getty Images Napoli manager Antonio Conte can make history on Friday as Napoli are set to be crowned Serie A champions if they win their last home game of the 2024-25 season against Cagliari, which officially avoided relegation last weekend. If the Azzurri win on Friday, it won't matter what Inter do against Como, as Napoli have a one-point margin over the Nerazzurri. If Napoli and Inter end their 38-game seasons with the same point total, a playoff final will decide the 2024-25 Serie A winner on Monday, in an unprecedented showdown which might take place in the same week Inter will face PSG in the 2024-25 Champions League final in Munich on May 31.If Conte wins the title, the Italian manager would make history as he would become the first ever manager to win the Scudetto with three different teams.  […]

Knicks’ epic collapse to Pacers forces New Yorkers to confront painful memories

NEW YORK — An ode to an all-time great also acted as a trip down the grungy, painful memory lane for a fan base finally starting to travel down a road more vibrant. The outcome. The moment. It was all reminiscent of grander times for one side and utter disaster for the other. In itself, the shot Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton made to end regulation in Game 1 of an Eastern Conference finals showdown against the Knicks was enough to inflict torture. It was the most memorable moment from a one-of-a-kind collapse by New York, one that quite literally might be the worst in NBA playoff history. Up 14 with 2:51 left regulation. Up nine with under a minute remaining. No team in at least 25 years has lost a postseason game with those margins. The Knicks became the first after […]
