„Ty góly v přesilovkách nám hodně pomohly. Loni v tomto období jsme v nich měli problémy. Ale tentokrát to byla nádhera,“ tvrdil kouč Dallasu Peter DeBoer. Tři góly v přesilovkách během úvodních šesti minut třetiny padly dosud v dějinách play off jen jednou zásluhou NY Rangers v roce 2014.
