Guys copy his wrist-flex celebration, they light up when he’s around. He radiates something that pulls people in.”
His popularity goes beyond respect. Teammates, many of whom were already fans of his college career, seem drawn to him in a way that’s more personal than professional. And while that’s generally a good thing, it raises an unspoken question: how will that kind of presence sit over time in a league that thrives on hierarchy, not hype?
Officially, Sanders is set to start behind Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel on the depth chart. But at least one team source reportedly believes “it won’t take long” for Shedeur to prove why he should be QB1.
