Os clubes no Brasil seguem com problemas para sanar suas dívidas. Em 2024 os 20 principais times do país chegaram a uma dívida acumulada de R$ 12 bilhões, conforme dados da Sports Value, um crescimento de 22% em relação ao registrado em 2023.
O Corinthians é quem possui o maior débito, com R$ 1,9 bilhão, seguido do Atlético-MG, com R$ 1,4 bilhão. Cruzeiro e Vasco aparecem logo atrás, superando a marca de R$ 900 milhões, fechando os quatro maiores devedores do futebol brasileiro.
Como é possível ver na imagem acima, todos os clubes tiveram um aumento de suas dívidas. As exceções foram Athletico-PR e Cuiabá, que seguem sem débitos contábeis no balanço, além de Ceará e Palmeiras, que reduziram suas pendências.
Detalhes importantes no estudo
O relatório da Sports Value é feito com base nas informações divulgadas pelos clubes em seus balanços oficiais. Porém Botafogo, Juventude e Atlético-MG não tinham divulgado suas demonstrações financeiras oficiais até o dia 30 de abril, data limite pela Legislação Federal.
Com relação ao Atlético-MG, o clube divulgou dados não auditados em uma apresentação, Já o Vasco repassou poucas informações, mas também não auditadas.
Cenário de Atlético-MG e Corinthians
Os times alvinegros vivem um cenário de atenção e tensão por conta dos problemas financeiros. O clube paulista vem acumulando um crescimento considerável de suas receitas, mas com a dívida aumentando praticamente todos os anos desde 2011 à 2024.
Isso acontece em meio a mais um momento político conturbado, com possibilidade de impeachment de Augusto Melo e revisão dos balanços dos dois últimos anos.
No caso da equipe mineira, o ponto que pode fazer a diferença para a gestão SAF equalizar suas finanças a Arena MRV, que ajudou o clube a ter um aumento do seu faturamento, com uma receita de R$ 674 milhões, conforme balanço publicado recentemente.
