Palmeiras e Flamengo ostentam status de protagonismo no Brasil ao longo das últimas temporadas, sempre rivalizando pelos principais títulos, e com movimentações milionárias no mercado da bola, mantendo assim o alto nível dos seus respectivos planteis.
No clima do jogo do próximo domingo (25), pelo Brasileirão, o Torcedores.com traz um levantamento sobre qual dos dois oponentes detém o posto de elenco mais valioso do futebol brasileiro na atualidade. E a resposta é o Palmeiras.
De acordo com dados do Transfermarkt, o Verdão, que investiu mais de R$ 430 milhões em sete reforços contratados nesta temporada, tem um plantel avaliado em 238,7 milhões de euros (cerca de R$ 1,54 bilhão na cotação atual). Estêvão é o jogador mais caro do clube (55 milhões de euros).
O Flamengo, por sua vez, aparece com valor de mercado de 219,1 milhões de euros (R$ 1,41 bilhão na cotação de momento). Gerson é o nome mais caro do plantel liderado por Filipe Luís, sendo avaliado em 25 milhões de euros (cerca de R$ 161,9 milhões).
A diferença da dupla para os demais concorrentes é abissal. O terceiro time do rankig dos mais caros é o Botafogo, avaliado em 135,9 milhões de euros.
Retrospecto recente
No recorte dos últimos dez enfrentamentos entre os dois times, o equilíbrio fala alto. Ao todo, são seis empates e duas vitórias para cada lado. Em uma das igualdades, no entanto, o Palmeiras acabou levando a melhor na disputa da prorrogação, justamente na finalíssima da Libertadores de 2021.
Em 2024, os dois protagonistas do futebol brasileiro mediram forças quatro vezes, duas pelo Brasileirão, com dois empates (0 a 0 no Allianz e 1 a 1 no Maracanã), e também se encontraram nas oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil, com o rubro-negro levando a melhor no agregado dos 180 minutos por 2 a 1, sendo registrada uma vitória para cada lado.
