Escalação do SPFC

Stina Blackstenius is a subtle striker who helped Arsenal win another Champions League title
As Arsenal’s Beth Mead played a snap reverse pass, Swedish forward Stina Blackstenius made a quick half turn to adjust her body shape, staying on the shoulder of the Barcelona defence.“The space opened up,” said Arsenal’s Beth Mead. “Seeing Stina, I thought, ‘Why not put it there?’.”Blackstenius thought she wasn’t prepared for the pass, but on the stretch, she just managed to control the ball with her first touch, and with her second, did not hesitate, blasting the ball into the back of the net. The goal proved the difference, lifting Arsenal 1-0 over Barcelona in one of the biggest upsets in UEFA Women’s Champions League final history.Advertisement“My feelings were all over the place,” Blackstenius, UEFA’s player of the match, said after the game. “I was in shock, then I was scared that I was offside, so I looked to […]

Why Monaco GP’s exclusive trophy trunk is now standard in F1… and League of Legends
What do the Olympic flame, Ballon d’Or and Monaco Grand Prix winner’s trophy have in common with multiplayer battle arena game League of Legends? It’s the cases these trophies are delivered in. And, these days, they’re very visible.Since the start of 2025, the winning trophy for each Formula One event has been displayed on the grid ahead of the race start, white-gloved attendees at the ready. This is the first year of the partnership between F1 and LVMH, the luxury goods powerhouse that owns brands including Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and TAG Heuer. But the trophy trunks, which have a deep history dating back to the 1800s, aren’t actually new for the Monaco Grand Prix. Louis Vuitton previously had a race-specific deal with the Automobile Club de Monaco from 2021-2024.AdvertisementThese trunks are also seen in similar presentation ceremonies across sport. […]

The Timberwolves needed the real Anthony Edwards to beat the Thunder. He knew it, too
MINNEAPOLIS — Anyone who watched the first two games of the West Finals knew that Anthony Edwards simply had to be better, that he had to set the tone from the tip and dominate, if his Minnesota Timberwolves were going to have a prayer of pushing the Oklahoma City Thunder squad that looked so superior to that point.AdvertisementBut it’s one thing for the fans and media to come to that conclusion. It’s quite another for the man himself, the only one who can actually do something about it, to have that realization in the kind of humbling way that actually sparks change. That was Edwards on Friday, when the Timberwolves had a day of solitude and seriousness that would set the stage for their series-turning 143-101 blowout in Game 3.Less than 24 hours before, when All-NBA teams were announced mid-day […]

Knicks at Pacers Game 3 picks, odds, how to watch: Indiana returns home with surprising 2-0 lead
The hostilities in Manhattan are totally understandable. The New York Knicks have struggled mightily with the Indiana Pacers when things matter most. We all know this as a basketball truism, but consider each of their four playoff series since the turn of the century — a conference finals loss to close the Patrick Ewing era in 2000, a second-round upset to spoil the Carmelo Anthony iteration in 2013, the seven-game heartbreaker last spring and now down 2-0 in historic fashion.AdvertisementTyrese Haliburton, Pascal Siakam and the Pacers pulled off back-to-back ultra-close wins at The Garden. They now return home with a chance to go up 3-0. Jalen Brunson’s bunch has been excellent on the road this postseason, and the Knicks will be eager to reciprocate come Sunday. How to watch New York Knicks at Indiana Pacers Game 3 Venue: Gainbridge Fieldhouse — […]
