Matematika hovořila před zápasem jednoznačně. Sparta mohla poskočit na čtvrtý flek a vyhnout se fiasku v podobě sezony bez evropských pohárů jen v případě, že uhraje více bodů než Jablonec. Vzhledem k faktu, že Viktoria v souboji se Severočechy dominovala, měl Loučka jasný úkol. Udržet remízu, která zaručila, že Sparta postoupí do druhého předkola Konferenční ligy.
I proto jste na konci posílal na plac obránce?
Ano. Museli jsme reagovat na výsledek našeho utkání a sledovali, jak se to vyvíjí v Plzni. Měli jsme cíl. Malý cíl, o kterém bychom před sezonou nechtěli ani přemýšlet. Ale už bylo důležité jen to, abychom ho naplnili. Volili jsme defenzivní variantu, abychom udrželi výsledek.
Počátkem druhé půle jste měli namále, za Vindahlem zazvonilo za stavu 0:1 břevno. Jak Spartě v tu chvíli bylo?
Podobně jako za stavu 0:3 v Ostravě. Nevyvíjelo se to vůbec dobře. Zaplaťpánbůh, že ta střela nekončila v bráně. Se skóre 0:2 by bylo výrazně složitější něco udělat.

Sparta se v posledních týdnech zdá být opravdu křehká. Máte pro to vysvětlení?
Když dostanete tolik ran, jako tým inkasoval v celé sezoně, promítne se to. Zamávalo by to každým. Chtěli jsme v utkání dominovat, hrát dobře. Ale obava a ztráta sebevědomí byla znát.

Přijde vám, že jsou hráči správně charakterově nastaveni?
Na tohle je těžké odpovědět. Pár měsíců zpátky jsme ty samé vynášeli do nebes a dobří fotbalisté jsou to pořád. Důležité je, aby si vyčistili hlavy. Nekoukám na to tak, že hráči Sparty nezvládají tlak. Jde o obecný jev, který se ve fotbale vyskytuje. V momentě, kdy tým neladí a nedaří se mu výsledkově, to takhle dopadne. Jsem přesvědčený, že až si kluci odpočinou, vrátí se na úroveň, na které byli.
Máte představu, jak bude vypadat vaše budoucnost?
V tento moment už chystám B-tým na další sezonu. Od začátku bylo jasně dané, že jsem tým přebral na dvě utkání. Teď sednu do auta a vyrazím za béčkem do Ostravy.
Na čem by podle vás měl hlavně zapracovat příští kouč A-mužstva?
Na mentální stránce. Dostat tým do pohody.
Jak osobně na krátké angažmá v A-tým nahlížíte?
Čekal jsem od sebe víc. Nepředstavoval jsem si, že získáme jeden bod ze dvou utkání. Sebevědomí týmu se mi nepodařilo dostat do takové fáze, abychom doručili i fotbalovou kvalitu. Celé to ale beru jako velkou zkušenost. Posledních devět dní pro mě bylo největší motivací, abych se sem třeba jednou vrátil.
