Não apenas por ser um resultado que levou a equipe a mais uma rodada no topo da tabela Mas também por fazer com que o time alviverde conseguisse passar da meta a qual desejava para chegar à nona rodada, que era de 16 pontos
“Essa soma de pontos é muito importante. A gente projetou 16 pontos, para chegarmos no fim com 64. Então, estamos um pouco acima da. Estamos com uma somatória boa, e isso nos deixa felizes. Mas também muito ligados nas armadilhas que o futebol prega. Não vamos deixar cair”, declarou Mancini.
Correções a fazer
Durante a partida contra a Ferroviária, o Goiás teve dentro de campo um desempenho que agradou bastante ao treinador, para complementar com os números que o time vem alcançando neste começo de Série B. Mas Mancini ainda vê espaço para correções a serem feitas pensando na sequência da temporada.
“Os números de excelente. Falando de atuação, tem muita coisa a ser acertada. Mas isso é futebol. Nem sempre vamos ter a mesma performance em todos os jogos. Hoje chegamos atrasados em algumas jogadas, mas depois fomos corrigindo e entendendo o jogo. São situações que a gente tem que analisar. Sabemos que não fizemos um grande jogo, mas o importante é vencer mesmo quando não jogamos bem”, comentou.
